Warehouse Associate
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, shipping, inventory control, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Receive, inspect, and accurately store incoming materials and products.
* Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications.
* Verify inventory counts and assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
* Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (if certified).
* Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
* Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records using warehouse management systems.
* Label, organize, and stock products in designated warehouse locations.
* Assist with material movement to support production and other departments as needed.
* Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
* Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, or safety concerns.
* Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory, or logistics experience preferred.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly throughout the shift.
* Comfortable standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting for extended periods.
* Basic computer and data entry skills.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Forklift experience or certification is a plus.
Work Environment
* Warehouse and manufacturing environment.
* Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials.
* Exposure to varying temperatures and warehouse conditions.
* Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required based on business needs.
