Electrical Designer

Job Title

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform design, layout, and drafting accurately from preliminary sketches or verbal instructions; ensuring technical correctness of drawings by using applicable job standards and specifications
• Interpret design drawings from other disciplines, being able to recognize obvious interferences and incompatible designs
• Perform design calculations accurately and neatly. Maintain records for all calculations

REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent understanding of the capabilities, uses, application and operation of Revit and AutoCAD
• Basic understanding of supplier catalogs required for material and equipment.
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Able to prioritize as well as multi-task
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to work collaboratively within team as well with the client.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Associate's degree in related field or relevant experience
• As an alternative: successful completion of internship program

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $104,000 with actual salary based on experience.
