Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a Level III high-risk facility, requiring NJ or compact RN licensure and strong fetal monitoring skills.

Job Details

• Work in the Labor & Delivery unit with float requirements to the HROB unit as needed,

• HROB unit includes 16 rooms for early inductions, antepartum, and patients on continuous monitoring,

• Potential floating to up to five hospitals within skillset, including high-risk settings,

• Level III high-risk maternity environment with advanced perinatal care,

• Three 12-hour day shifts (7:00-19:00) with every other weekend and every other holiday,

• Uses Epic charting system;
Epic experience preferred,

• Hospital-provided scrubs,

Job Requirements

• Active NJ or compact state RN license required at time of consideration,

• Minimum 2.5 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience,

• Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications,

• Must pass a dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of signing, with only two attempts allowed on a PC,

• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required with no exemptions,

• Experience with Epic EMR preferred,

Additional Information

• May float to HROB unit and within five hospitals based on need and skillset,

• First-time travelers are accepted for this role,

• Block scheduling is not permitted,

• Requested time off must be declared at time of consideration; additional requests will not be accepted later,

• Hospital provides scrubs for staff,

• Local pay rate applies for candidates residing within 50 miles,

• Candidates who fail the dysrhythmia test twice will be ineligible for future assignments with this hospital system,
