High Risk Obstetric Nurse

Voorhees, NJ

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shifts, 3x12-hour schedule (07:00 - 19:00)

Job Description

The High Risk Obstetric Nurse will provide care for early inductions, antepartum patients, and those on continuous monitoring within a Level III high-risk facility. The nurse may be required to float to other units or nearby hospitals as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the High Risk Obstetric Unit.
• Monitor patients continuously and respond to any changes in their condition.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Float between multiple facilities as necessary based on patient care needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2.5 years of experience in obstetric nursing.
• Current active NJ nursing license.
• Certifications:
  
  ACLS, BLS, and NRP required.
• Completion of Dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of signing the contract.
• Experience with Epic charting preferred.
