Location:
Voorhees – 100 Bowman Drive, New Jersey.
Employment type:
Regular, full‑time, on‑site.
Work shift:
3rd Shift, 6:00p.m. – 6:00a.m.
Hours:
Total 40 per week, with 10‑hour shifts (2 Mondays and 2 Fridays per month). Hours are flexible as long as coverage is maintained during the shift.
Assists the Nurse Director / Manager in coordinating the clinical and business activities on the unit to deliver optimal patient care in a cost‑effective manner. Promotes independent decision making, team accountability, and a climate for effective performance. Evaluates existing programs and implements strategic creative solutions and change.
Position Responsibilities- Assist the Nurse Director / Manager with overall management responsibilities for the department.
- Coach and counsel employees to maintain high performance standards and participate in performance evaluations.
- Delegate tasks appropriately based on patient needs and staff qualifications.
- Maintain day‑to‑day operations, including bed flow, patient rounding (where applicable), chart checks, and clinical support, collaborating with other departments.
- Model appropriate behaviors to support customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrate and promote fiscal responsibility.
- Coordinate inventory consignment, purchasing contracts, billing processes/issues, and generate reports when appropriate.
- Manage staff levels by implementing and coordinating unit staffing for nursing care.
- Monitor quality metrics and facilitate performance improvement activities by reviewing charts and coaching staff.
- Minimum of 2 years recent clinical/cath‑lab experience.
- Broad knowledge of nursing practice with the ability to apply specific nursing interventions.
- Competency in management and leadership skills.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
- Current New Jersey RN license and BLS certification.
- Appropriate specialty or regulatory certification as required.
Annual Salary: $98,700 – $158,398 (actual salary varies with experience, equity, and market data).
