Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse to provide specialized care for critically ill and premature newborns in a NICU setting.
Key Responsibilities- Perform neonatal assessments, monitor vital signs, and manage advanced NICU equipment such as ventilators and infusion pumps.
- Administer medications, assist with life‑saving procedures, and support family‑centered education for parents.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Ensure adherence to infection control, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.
- One year of recent NICU experience.
- Valid RN license per state regulations.
- Current BLS and NRP certifications.
Neonatal ICU Nursing Certification (RNC-NIC), PALS or ENPC, and other relevant credentials.
Essential skillsCritical thinking, strong interpersonal, technical, and motor skills, along with the ability to work under pressure and communicate effectively.
