American Traveler is seeking a Labor & Delivery RN for a Level III high-risk facility, requiring an active NJ or compact license and 2.5-3 years of recent L&D experience.
Details- Labor and Delivery unit within a Level III high-risk facility
- Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM-7:00 PM
- Float required to the High-Risk Obstetric (HROB) unit, which includes 16 rooms caring for early inductions, antepartum, and continuous monitoring patients
- Float requirement among 5 hospitals within skillset based on staffing needs
- Every other weekend and every other holiday (EOW/EOH) required
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Work settings include Antepartum and High Risk Antepartum
- Active NJ or Compact RN license required, verified via Nursys within 2 weeks of submission
- Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and NRP
- BLS certification must not expire within 30 days of assignment start date
- Minimum 2.5-3 years of L&D experience required, with recent experience within the last 12 months
- Must pass a dysrhythmia exam within 72 hours of signing, limited to 2 attempts on a PC (iOS devices not compatible)
- Must complete pre-employment labs within 48 hours of signing
- Must be clean shaven to accommodate fit testing
- Scrubs are provided by the hospital
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Block scheduling is not permitted
- RTO must be submitted with the initial profile; requests after submission will not be accepted, and no RTO is allowed during the first week of the assignment
- Travel pairs are not accepted; candidates are considered individually
- Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are subject to the local pay rate
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccines are required with no exemptions
