Electrical Engineer

About the Role:

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, evaluating, and improving electrical systems for various product lines. This includes the design of new systems and transitioning them from development into production, while also supporting manufacturing processes. You will be involved in troubleshooting electrical issues, maintaining regulatory compliance, and ensuring that products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop innovative electrical systems for products.
  • Evaluate and optimize existing electrical systems.
  • Estimate project timelines, resource requirements, and associated costs.
  • Transition products from development to production and optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Provide troubleshooting support for manufacturing equipment.
  • Ensure products comply with regulatory standards (UL, CSA, ETL).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and interface with customers.
  • Document processes and procedures for electrical systems.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in HMI programming, PLC programming, and Eagle circuit board creation software.
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles.
  • Experience in electro-mechanical equipment design.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage projects effectively, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (UL, CSA, ETL).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
