Position SummaryThe VP of Finance is a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations while contributing to long-term business growth and profitability. Reporting directly to the President, this role serves as a hybrid CFO/Controller position and is a key member of the Executive Leadership Team.
The VP of Finance will lead Accounting, Human Resources, Information Technology, Purchasing, and Financial Planning & Analysis while partnering with ownership and advisors on strategic initiatives, acquisitions, financial performance, and organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities- Lead all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cash management activities.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, KPIs, and business performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with banking, audit, tax, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage annual budgeting and rolling cash flow forecasting processes.
- Partner with executive leadership to drive profitability, growth, and operational excellence.
- Support acquisition evaluations, due diligence, and strategic growth initiatives.
- Oversee Accounting, HR, IT, Purchasing, and FP&A functions.
- Strengthen internal controls, financial processes, and business systems.
- Guide technology and automation initiatives, including cybersecurity oversight.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting.
- Experience with ERP systems (Epicor experience preferred).
- Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and contribute at the executive level.
