Job SummarySanitation Operator is responsible for cleaning manufacturing equipment and the facility throughout the day. The Sanitation Operator works with cleaning chemicals, water, various tools and equipment to complete sanitation tasks.
Essential Functions- Disassemble equipment, clean, sanitize, and reassemble equipment in a safe and sanitary manner within established time frame
- Visually inspect clean equipment to verify cleanliness and props setup prior to production
- Clean, pick up, and organize peripheral area to include breakrooms, locker rooms, bathrooms, restrooms, and offices.
- Remove trash from peripheral areas, bail/band cardboard, and plastic as needed.
- Comply with Company’s GMP’S, SOP’s, WI’s, LOTO, employee handbook, and other policies
- Self‑motivated to stay busy and prioritize daily workload using master sanitation schedule in conjunction with production schedule.
- Ability to pass internal training and operate heavy equipment to include forklift, scissor lift, boom lift, and scrubber.
- Support Production Department, Quality Department, and Engineering Department as needed.
High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent.

Language SkillsAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute ratio and percent and to interpret miscellaneous drawings and schematics.
Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Physical RequirementsPhysically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance while stocking, storing, and maneuvering around the work area. Able to stand on feet for 10+ hours.
