Commercial Sales Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:

Manages the commercial marketing and sales of aluminumsow & ingotwhilemaintaininga current customer base,acquiring new customers, and providing excellent customer service.

• Develop new andmaintainexisting customer base and relationships using exceptional customer service skills.
• Acquire new customers through prospecting, usingface-to-facecold calling, telephonesolicitationand all types of electronic communication.
• Negotiate annual and spot contracts andestablishpricing.
• Identify and implementmarginopportunities withexistingaccounts.
• Customer development to include introduction to new potential alloys.
• Manage andmaintainthe monthly and annual sales position strategically with all plants.
• Support internal and external customers, resolvingissuesthat ariseona timely basis.
• Gatherappropriate information about the local market concerning prices, competitorinformationand availability of supply.
• The employee may be assigned to special projects orrequiredto perform other duties not listed above, which may vary from time to time asdeterminedby management, to meet company needs.
• Regular andtimelyattendanceisan expectation of the position.
• Follow the 5S foundations for deploying lean production tools and processes.

• A college degree in business is desirableorequivalent to business experience preferred.
• Excel, Outlook, Word, and proficient math skillsarerequired.

• Sales experience and ability to communicate effectively witha very diversegroup of customers/suppliers and internal customers.
• Requires strong face-to-face, telephone and electronic communication skills.
• Travelisrequiredapproximately 25% of each month.
