Quotation Specialist

The Ford Meter Box Company, Inc. is seeking a Quotation Specialist for its Engineered Products & Solutions Group. This position will specialize in the quotes processes and internal sales support for the EPS customers. Prospects must be proficient with computer applications, product identification, and other office equipment. JD Edwards proficiency is required. Exceptional data entry and written communication are also needed.

The ideal candidate should have a two-year degree and/or experience in a professional sales office setting.

This position will be responsible for the following duties:

• Communicates by phone or email with distributors, sales personnel, and Ford Meter Box team members
• Processes quotes and documents, entering these into both JD Edwards and Salesforce
• Sends quotations to customers following verification
• Reviews specification and material to assist and determine product part numbers and variables
• Labeling and identification for quote request/requirements for compliance, such as AIS (American Iron & Steel), BABA (Build America, Buy America), and others as identified
• Process external pricing letters in response to direct account requests
• Assist in tabulating and maintaining department data
