Mechanical Technical Service Expert

Join our team as a Mechanical Technical Service Representative in Wabush, Newfoundland and Labrador. Utilize your mechanical and electrical skills to provide top-notch diagnostics and repairs for mining equipment.

This role requires a technician with 4-8 years of experience, focusing on LeTourneau loaders and other mining machinery. You'll be working independently, traveling to customer sites, applying your expertise to troubleshoot complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues. This position also demands adherence to strict safety protocols and maintaining service records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver advanced diagnostics and commissioning in the field

• Diagnose complex hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical issues

• Provide on-site technical support for various products

• Troubleshoot high-voltage systems and critical failures

• Maintain accurate service records and customer entries

Requirements:

• Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician or Millwright preferred

• 4–8 years’ experience with mining equipment

• Strong diagnostic skills in hydraulic and electrical systems

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
