Brief Description

The purpose of this position is to administer the purchasing card program and provide support for other accounting activities for the Brazos River Authority (BRA). This is accomplished by training staff on the acceptable practices for using a purchase card; overseeing purchase card activity; analyzing and reconciling accounts; preparing and processing related information; and serving as back up for the Accounts Payable Clerk.

Other duties include maintaining financial records; performing purchasing card audits; ensuring that all employees are compliant with the Purchasing Card Procedure; assisting co-workers with projects and/or tasks to ensure goals and deadlines are met; performing related administrative functions; and any other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
  • Minimum two years' experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • High School Diploma - Awarded for the completion of High School.

Starting Salary Range

$19.31 to $24.62 per hour
. This is a non-exempt position.
