About the Role
As a CBRE Receptionist, you will be the welcoming face and first point of contact for a food manufacturing plant, playing a crucial role in providing world‑class customer service to clients, visitors, and employees. This position is an integral part of the Workplace Experience function, responsible for delivering exceptional administrative support and ensuring a seamless, professional, and hospitable environment. You will perform diverse administrative tasks, ranging from managing communications to coordinating meeting spaces and maintaining office efficiency.
This role supports a dynamic manufacturing plant, spanning approximately 700,000 square feet. CBRE is a global leader in commercial real estate services and investments, providing a wide range of services across various property types, including manufacturing and industrial facilities.
- Manage incoming communications, including receiving and directing calls to appropriate personnel and voicemail.
- Warmly greet clients, applicants, and visitors upon arrival, issuing visitor passes and parking validations while strictly adhering to security protocols.
- Coordinate and prepare meeting and conference rooms, which includes room setup, arranging catering orders, and securing necessary technological equipment.
- Request building and housekeeping services as needed to maintain a pristine and functional environment.
- Perform general clerical duties, such as distributing office faxes, processing packages, and managing office supply inventory and ordering.
- Track incoming and outgoing packages, mail, and freight, and arrange messenger services when required.
- Arrange hospitality services for guests, including transportation, tickets, and reservations.
- Execute work orders, ensure meeting setups are complete, and guide high‑level visitors to their designated meeting rooms.
- Operate gate access if necessary and distribute badges in the absence of security personnel.
- Utilize established procedures to resolve routine problems, demonstrating sound judgment within defined parameters.

- Prior experience in a receptionist or administrative support role.
