Job Summary
KWTX-TV is seeking a full-time Sales Assistant/Front Desk professional to join our team. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative environment. This role involves working closely with our sales team and serving as the primary point of contact for viewers and clients visiting or calling the television station. A positive demeanor and the ability to work efficiently with colleagues and clients are essential.
Duties/Responsibilities- Answer incoming calls and warmly greet station guests.
- Collaborate effectively with managers, coworkers, and clients to deliver exceptional service.
- Perform daily reconciliation of completed logs for billing purposes.
- Enter orders into the Wide Orbit Traffic system.
- Provide administrative support to the General Manager, Director of Sales, Sales Managers, and Media Executives.
- Assist with accounting tasks and support the office manager as needed.
- Perform other support duties as required.
- Previous sales support/clerical experience in an office setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong computer skills.
- Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and adapt to new tasks.
- Customer service experience with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of working independently while also contributing to a team environment.
- Dependable, punctual, and maintains a professional appearance.
- Upholds a high level of confidentiality.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and auto insurance.
