What you'll accomplish with us
As a Mailroom Specialist, you'll be at the core of our mission. Your main responsibilities include:
- Processing incoming and outgoing mail
- Manually inserting all types of mail
- Picking up and delivering mail/parcels using a company vehicle
- Scanning and digitizing incoming mail for internal departments
- Sorting and processing returned mail
- Maintaining proper postage levels on meter machines
- Handling special mail types:
Registered, Certified, Insured, Express Mail - Delivering and picking up internal correspondence across departments
- Using computerized addressing systems (PAVE software)
- Assigning documents received in department systems
- Conducting all work in compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies
- Following the iA Financial Group Code of Conduct
We're looking for someone who:
- Is known for strong attention to detail
- Stands out for clear written and verbal communication
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving and issue-resolution skills
- Is recognized for organization and the ability to prioritize
- Performs well under pressure and manages multiple tasks
- Has a high school diploma or GED
- Has mailroom experience (preferred)
- Has a good driving record
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Adapts well to procedural and organizational changes
- Maintains a positive, learning-oriented attitude
