Outside Sales, Operations Manager

Gains knowledge and experience required for promotion to professional, management, or sales positions under the direction of experienced personnel.

• Receives training and performs duties in several departments such as Operations, Shop, Warehouse, Inside and Outside Sales, Administration, and Business Management.
• Learn line and staff functions, operations, management viewpoints and company policies and practices that affect each phase of business.
• Sets performance goals and objectives with upper management.
• Monitors performance progress with management and key trainers.
• Observes experienced workers to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards required for performance of departmental duties.
• Receives training in functions and operations of related departments to facilitate subsequent transferability between departments and to provide greater promotional opportunities.
• Obtains necessary industry certifications as identified.
• Assists with branch, regional, and company wide projects and initiatives as assigned.

• Strong written, verbal, analytical and presentation skills
• Ability to interact effectively and develop effective relationships with a wide range of staff throughout the company.
• Flexibility in work assignments and ability to be a team player.
• Willingness for continuous learning and obtaining necessary certifications and education to move in the company.

• Business or related undergraduate degree, or significant fluid power industry experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
