Job Description
gpac is excited to partner with a renowned company in the commercial construction sector to find a skilled Commercial Construction Superintendent. This role presents an incredible opportunity for an experienced professional to join a supportive management team and an outstanding company culture.
The Commercial Construction Superintendent will lead the on-site operations of commercial projects while ensuring effective coordination between clients and subcontractors.
The key responsibilities include:
- Planning, organizing, and directing construction projects
- Providing strong leadership and guidance to the construction team
- Creating and managing project budgets
- Ensuring adherence to safety regulations
- Maintaining compliance with building codes and industry standards
- Conducting regular meetings to discuss project progress
- Building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders
Essential qualifications for the ideal candidate:
- In-depth knowledge of commercial construction practices
- Self‑motivated with the confidence to lead on‑site teams
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and industry documents
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Excellent organizational, communication, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills
This position requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in the commercial construction industry. The salary ranges from $105,000 to $140,000, depending on experience, with benefits including medical coverage, a truck, bonuses, and more.
