Enrichment Coach

Provide engaging, age-appropriate enrichment instruction for students during Cadet Enrichment Hour. Community Enrichment Coaches share specialized skills, hobbies, career knowledge, or creative interests with students in a safe, structured, and positive learning environment. Instruction supports the program goals of enrichment, engagement, excellence, curiosity, confidence, teamwork, and student growth.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Specialized training, experience, certification, or demonstrated skill in the assigned enrichment area preferred
• Must meet district background check and volunteer/vendor clearance requirements

Special Knowledge/

Skills:

• Ability to work positively with elementary and/or junior high-aged students
• Knowledge or experience in one or more approved enrichment areas
• Ability to plan and lead hands-on, age-appropriate activities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow district safety, supervision, and student management procedures
• Dependability and punctuality
• Experience teaching, coaching, mentoring, volunteering, or leading youth activities preferred
• Experience in the assigned course area preferred

• Tools/Equipment Used:
  Standard office equipment, including computer and peripherals.
• Posture:
  Prolonged sitting and standing; occasional stooping, squatting, kneeling, bending, pushing/pulling, and twisting.
• Motion:
  Frequent repetitive hand motions, including keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching.
• Lifting:
  Occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds).
• Environment:
  Works in an office setting; may require occasional irregular and/or prolonged hours.
• Attendance:
  Regular and punctual attendance at the worksite is required for this position.
• Mental Demands:
  Maintains emotional control under stress; works with frequent interruptions.
