Job Description & How to Apply Below

As a Client Services Associate at STRATA Trust Company, you will serve as a primary point of contact for clients and financial professionals, helping to deliver a consistent, high-quality service experience. This role is relationship-focused and service-driven, requiring regular phone and email communication, research, and problem-solving to address client needs accurately and efficiently.

You will work closely with clients, business partners, and internal teams to ensure requests are handled professionally, precisely, and in a timely manner. This position involves a high volume of inbound and outbound communication and requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple requests throughout the day.

This is a full-time, in-person role based at our Waco office (7901 Woodway Dr.) with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule. Compensation is competitive and designed to reward reliability, strong performance, and a client-focused approach.

We are looking for someone who enjoys client interaction, is dependable and responsive, and takes pride in delivering reliable service in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

What will I do?

As a Client Services Associate at STRATA, you will be responsible for delivering timely, accurate, and professional support to clients and financial professionals. This role is primarily client-facing, with a mix of independent and collaborative work focused on resolving questions, processing account-related tasks, and ensuring a seamless client experience.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
  • Communicating with clients and financial professionals via phone, email, online, or in person to resolve questions and address account needs.
  • Processing account-related tasks, including transaction verifications and credit card processing, with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Partnering with internal teams to resolve client issues and ensure requests are handled efficiently.
  • Maintaining compliance with STRATA policies, risk procedures, and service level expectations.
In this role, you can expect to:
  • Complete a structured training program, including Ascensus IRA online training.
  • Build expertise in IRA products, STRATA services, and operational processes.
  • Split your workload roughly 80/20 between independent client work and collaborative team projects.
  • Receive mentorship, guidance, and support from a highly experienced team in a positive, team-oriented environment.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as you demonstrate capability, reliability, and initiative.
Am I the right fit?

We’re looking for dependable, detail-oriented individuals who take pride in providing accurate, timely, and professional service to clients. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, and 2–5 years of relevant experience, ideally in customer service or financial services; or an equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the job successfully.
  • Strong client-service orientation, with professionalism, patience, and empathy in all interactions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information to clients and colleagues.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple requests while meeting deadlines.
  • Comfort working collaboratively with internal teams to resolve client issues efficiently.
  • Basic computer skills, including navigating websites and using software applications; proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) is preferred.
  • A proactive mindset and a commitment to reliability and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of investments or alternative asset transactions (real estate, private equity, etc.) is a plus but not required.
What does it mean to be on the STRATA team?

Our commitment to our employees goes beyond base pay—it includes the tangible things like salary, benefits, and special employee programs such as training & development, wellness, and flexible sick time. Equally important are the intangible factors like challenging work, a community focused mindset, and the opportunity…
