We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Banker to join our team and provide exceptional service to our customers in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing outstanding customer service by efficiently handling cash transactions such as deposits and withdrawals.
- Evaluating customer relationships to suggest suitable bank products and services that align with their financial goals.
- Adhering to established policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Meeting monthly new account production goals as directed by management.
- Engaging in proactive sales activities, including in-store aisle prospecting.
- Processing various transactions accurately and balancing daily operations.
- Verifying cash and checks to prevent counterfeit issues.
- Issuing receipts and maintaining accurate records of all transactions.
- Preparing and selling money orders, cashier's checks, and other banking products.
- Facilitating money transfers and cash advances as needed.
- Cross‑selling additional bank services and products.
- Providing service to a diverse customer base, including a significant Spanish‑speaking population.
- Completing any additional tasks assigned by supervisors related to branch operations.
- Maintaining regular attendance and punctuality.
Physical Requirements
- Stand or walk for extended periods based on branch location.
- Thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced, and often noisy environment.
- Flexibility in work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to operate computers and other office equipment.
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- At least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma, equivalency, or current high school enrollment.
- Preferred six months of experience in retail or customer service.
- Must pass a background investigation in accordance with company policy.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment and establish good working relationships with colleagues.
