DescriptionThe Intern will receive on-the-job training. The intern's primary purpose is to learn and develop an understanding of the overall operation of their assigned department.
The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices on a daily basis:
1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values;
2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources;
3) Participate in ongoing self-development.
- Receive coaching, mentoring, and feedback from leadership
- Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
- Requires regular and punctual employee attendance
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Basic computer skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- Basic math calculations and the ability to read, write, and understand work instructions
Education and Experience:
- Currently actively enrolled in a College or Technical School
- Currently studying in Diesel Technology, Ag Mechanics, or a similar program
- No travel is expected for this position
- This role frequently communicates with others, must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
- Frequently works at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions
