Job Description:
* Provide individualized or small group instruction in STEAM subjects.
* Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
* Support students in developing problem-solving, critical thinking, and creative skills.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Track student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians.
* Use educational tools, technology, and platforms to enhance learning. Collaborate with other educators and staff to align with curriculum standards.
* Encourage curiosity, innovation, and teamwork through project-based learning
* General Responsibilities:
* Communicate with Transformation Waco's Outreach Coordinator regarding specific Program operations/needs.
* Ensure upkeep of STEAM program property and equipment. Maintain a working knowledge of how to utilize all relevant STEAM property and equipment.
* Work closely with Transformation Waco's Outreach Coordinator to retain organized and accurate records and assist in record maintenance as instructed.
* Attend required meetings, training and other events as instructed within work hours.
All applicants must be Federal Work Study (FWS) Eligible.
* Provide support and assistance in a respective area of community service
* Assist with various projects, activities or tasks related to community service
* Provide excellent customer service to constituents
* Utilize available resources to perform duties accordingly
* Serve to enhance outreach for the greater Waco community
* Must be federal work study eligible
* Ability to comply with University policies
* Maintain regular and punctual attendance
