Overview

Responsibilities- Prepare and deliver high‑quality instruction and facilitate learning across diverse styles.
- Develop course syllabi and instructional plans, organizing daily classes with creative techniques.
- Interpret and administer assessments, provide constructive feedback to support student growth.
- Integrate technology effectively to enrich learning experiences.
- Maintain accurate student records and uphold instructional environment standards.
- Provide student advisement, ensuring timely and comprehensive information.
- Collaborate with the Office of Student Success to promote retention and tutoring programs.
- Participate in recruitment events and contribute to program planning.
- Demonstrate teamwork, service, and courteous behavior toward students, parents, employers, and the public.
- Adapt to evening, weekend, or summer assignments as needed.
- Verifiable work experience as a licensed plumber.
- Current journeyman plumbing license through the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners (TSBPE).
- Knowledge of health and safety in plumbing systems, plumbing PPE, blueprints, local codes, hazard precautions, field dimensioning, transit level use, pipe sizing, drain cleaning, cost estimation, and project management.
- Basic computer skills.
- Master plumbing license through TSBPE.
- OSHA‑authorized construction trainer.
- Railroad commission LPG license.
- BPAT license.
- OSSF installers license.
- Med Gas endorsement.
- Rinnai teaching certification.
- Knowledge in heavy equipment operations and safety.
- Boiler maintenance experience.
- New technology material installer certification.
- 3–10 years of work/field experience.
Verifiable and demonstrated work/field experience as required. No specific degree is listed, but extensive professional experience is expected.
Salary$68,400 – $78,661, depending on qualifications and experience.
