* In a student employee capacity, may perform or assist with specialized business or operational functions that contribute to departmental goals and initiatives.

Job Description:

The Student Success Ambassador program is designed to improve individual, interpersonal, and academic well-being, with emphasis placed upon academic well-being and academic preparedness.

* Attend Strategic Learning class - Take a 1-hour Strategic Learning 1102-N7 course focusing on
1) the development of talent,
2) the science of learning,
3) study strategies, and
4) Baylor resources

* Direct students to campus and community resources, as needed

* Maintain regular and punctual attendance for Strategic Learning Class, Tutoring Sessions, and Supplemental Instruction

* Promote your experience and resources with your peers in classes, student organizations, and more

* Participate in tutoring programming provided by Baylor University

* Attend weekly check-ins in Strategic Learning course and remind peers of learning strategies and Baylor resources

* Utilize other Baylor resources as needed

* Promote Baylor University Resources and the Success Center on personal social media accounts (accounts must be in alignment with Baylor Social Media guidelines, best practices, and commonly used hashtags)

* Ability to comply with University policies

* Maintain regular and punctual attendance for all classes

Additional considerations

* Must be a freshman

* Minimum GPA of 2.5

* No history of severe disciplinary record
