Primary PurposeFacilitate and coordinate activities related to the admission, renewal, and dismissal (ARD) process.
QualificationsEducation/Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid Texas Special Education certificate
- Effective and positive communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong team‑building skills
- Knowledge of special education rules and regulations
- Ability to interpret policy, procedures, and data
- Superior organizational skills
- Ability to adjust to change in a positive manner
Minimum of three years special education teaching experience, preferred.
Major Responsibilities and DutiesMaintain emotional control under stress. Ability to proficiently manage multiple tasks simultaneously; ability to consistently interact with students and staff in positive manner. Varied working environment; frequent district‑wide travel; moderate standing, stooping, bending, pulling and pushing; performing restraint techniques with students when required.
