Special Assignment Aide
Position:
Special Assignment Aide at La Vega Intermediate School, Waco, TX (La Vega ISD).
Primary Purpose / Function: Provide instruction to individual students and small groups of students. Work under the supervision of a certified teacher.
QualificationsEducation/Certification:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Educational Aide Certificate
- Meets Highly Qualified status with either an Associate’s degree or higher, 48 college hours or a certificate demonstrating state or local academic assessment.
Special Knowledge/
Skills:
- Ability to work well with children.
- Calm and patient demeanor with students and others.
Experience:
- Some experience working with children in an instructional setting.
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $14.88 to $20.47 per hour
Starting Date: Immediately
Job Requirements- Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
