Family Engagement Plan Coordinator

The goal is to assist in the development and implementation of a family engagement plan, for the purpose of achieving and maintaining high levels of family involvement and positive family attitudes towards education.

Title I, Part A, provides supplemental resources to LEAs to help schools with high concentrations of students from low-income families provide high-quality education that will enable all children to meet the state student performance standards. Title I, Part A, supports campuses in implementing either a school wide program (SWP) or a targeted assistance program (TAP).

Education/Certification:

Bachelor's degree from accredited university in social work or closely related field

Skills:

General knowledge of parent education programs Knowledge of social services available from various agencies Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Bilingual Preferred Ability to handle multiple responsibilities Patient and calm demeanor with others

Experience:

Prior teaching or social service work experience preferred
