Job Description

Baylor University is seeking a Program Manager for its inaugural Masters of Architecture (M.Arch) Program, housed within the Department of Human Sciences and Design (Hsd) in the Robbins College of Health and Human Sciences. This position is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative, operational, and programmatic support for Baylor's newly developed hybrid M.Arch program. The Program Manager will serve as a central point of coordination under the direction of the M.Arch

Program Director and Hsd Department Chair to support students, faculty, and administrative partners, in addition to assisting with program launch, accreditation, assessment activities, and ongoing operations.

An bachelor's degree and two years of relevant work experience are required. A bachelor's degree and four years of relevant work experience are preferred. Experience in higher education administration and hybrid or online program delivery is preferred. Additional education or experience may be considered in lieu of one another.

Applicants must hold strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to thrive in a collaborative and faith-based environment, are essential.

This is a full-time, 12-month position. As a hybrid program, the program manager may reside remotely but must be able to periodically travel to Waco, Texas, including occasional weekends for program activities and designated work.

All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

What You Will Do

  • Serve as a supporting point of contact for prospective and matriculated students, M.Arch faculty, and administrative partners
  • Support program leadership in preparation and organization of materials, tracking agenda items, and deadlines
  • Manage multiple concurrent tasks and priorities ensuring deadlines are met
  • Prepare and document organized reports, summaries, spreadsheets, and supporting materials as requested
  • Assist in the development, submission, and maintenance of program NaaB accreditation documentation
  • Assist in the development, submission and maintenance of collegiate memberships
  • Support the development, coordination, and maintenance of the M.Arch program
  • Work collaboratively with administrative staff partners across the department to coordinate program operations, support shared workflows, and ensure consistent communication
  • Assist with the development and documentation of new processes, procedures, and operational systems to support the growth and long-term success of the M.Arch program
  • Coordinate and manage adjunct and full-time M.Arch faculty hiring and onboarding processes, including coordination of multiple hires per semester
  • Coordinate and manage faculty timelines, deadlines, meetings, and required documentation for teaching and service
  • Assist with scheduling and documentation of faculty meetings
  • Manage faculty travel needs
  • Coordinate and provide support for online classroom meetings and onsite instruction space needs
  • Collaborate with internal Baylor administrative staff to ensure smooth delivery of online and hybrid classes, including Immersions
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced academic environment
  • Collaborate with institutional administrative partners within and outside of Baylor
  • Represent the program with professionalism, discretion, and respect
  • Communicate expectations clearly, respectfully, and consistently
  • Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission
  • Ability to comply with university policies
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
