Position Overview
We are seeking an energetic and engaging Cheer & Hip Hop Instructor to lead an after-school enrichment program for elementary students. The instructor will introduce students to basic cheerleading and hip hop dance techniques while promoting teamwork, confidence, creativity, and physical fitness in a fun and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan and lead age-appropriate cheer and hip hop dance lessons for K–6 students
- Teach basic choreography, rhythm, coordination, and movement skills
- Create a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning atmosphere
- Maintain student engagement and manage classroom behavior appropriately
- Prepare simple routines that may be showcased at the end of the program
- Communicate professionally with school staff and program coordinators
- Ensure student safety at all times
Qualifications
- Experience teaching or performing cheer, hip hop, or dance (youth experience preferred)
- Ability to work with elementary-aged children
- High energy, patience, and strong classroom management skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Must be able to pass required background checks
Preferred Skills
- Prior after-school or youth program instruction experience
- Ability to adapt instruction for mixed age and skill levels
- Strong communication and leadership skills

Robinson Elementary- 151 Peplow Dr, Robinson TX 76706 Program Dates: 8/31, 9/2, 9/9, 9/14, 9/16, 9/21, 9/23, 9/28, 9/30, 10/5, 10/7, 10/19, 10/21, 10/26, 10/28
Schedule:
Mondays and Wednesdays from 5pm to 6PM. Grade Levels: K
-5th grade In Person
