Qualifications and
Experience:
- Current Texas special education certification required
- Prior experience teaching or supporting students with exceptionalities in a school setting preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Adaptability and creativity in instructional strategies to meet varying student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and interventions tailored to each student's IEP
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate student progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEP reviews, and parent conferences
- Collaborate with general education teachers and staff to support inclusive practices
- Foster a positive, encouraging, and inclusive classroom culture
