Classroom Teacher Or Paraprofessional Substitute
Classroom teacher or paraprofessional substitute safety and security class will need to be completed before subbing on a campus. Follow teacher's lesson plans to keep the students on track. Able to control a classroom to provide a learning environment. Most campuses hours start at 7:30 a.m. and end after students have been dismissed around 3:55 p.m. Leave detailed notes for the teacher if required.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Bachelor's degree or higher will be asked to provide an official copy of your transcript. Copy of driver license and social security card will need to be provided to the HR department for a background check. Fingerprinting is required at your cost which is around $49. (Once you are hired, your information will be uploaded to TEA so you can schedule to have your fingerprints complete if not already done.)
