Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide production support by updating tooling and routings, assisting with NPI, reviewing current product change notices, driving continuous improvement initiatives, authoring standard work documentation in Teamcenter/SAP, and supporting 3D printing activities.
• Work collaboratively with a cross‑functional team that includes Manufacturing Engineers, Project Engineers, and Facility Engineers.
• Engage in Rapid Improvement Workshops (RIWs), problem‑solving sessions, and participate in Learning Team projects.
• Support the assembly floor by troubleshooting build issues and refining standard work to ensure safe, consistent processes.
• Update routings, validate BOMs, and implement engineering changes to keep production accurate and aligned with current designs.
• Collaborate with Quality and Supply teams to address nonconformances and evaluate part readiness when needed.
• Identify waste, improve material flow, and optimize layout or tooling to increase efficiency.

• Manufacturing engineering, Process improvement, Continuous improvement, Lean manufacturing, Six sigma, 5S.
• Nice to have: SAP, Teamcenter, Visio, 5S, RCCA.
• Entry Level.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waco, TX.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
