Entry Level Manufacturing Engineer

Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer 1

Location: On site in Waco, TX

Contract Duration: 12-month contract with potential for extension or conversion

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer 1 to join our team on site in Waco, TX. In this 12‑month contract role (Monday–Thursday, 6:00 am–4:00 pm), you will apply engineering principles to improve industrial layout and manufacturing processes, update tooling and routings, assist with new product introduction (NPI), review engineering change notices, and author standard work documentation in systems such as Teamcenter and SAP.

You will collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Project, Quality, Supply, and Facility Engineers to troubleshoot build issues, validate BOMs, interpret engineering drawings and blueprints, and drive efficiency through lean initiatives and Rapid Improvement Workshops.

• Support the assembly floor by troubleshooting build issues and refining standard work to ensure safe, consistent processes.
• Update routings, validate BOMs, and implement engineering changes to keep production accurate and aligned with current designs.
• Collaborate with Quality and Supply teams to address nonconformances and evaluate part readiness when needed.
• Perform continuous improvement work: identify waste, improve material flow, and optimize layout or tooling to increase efficiency.

• Partner closely with assemblers and cross‑functional teams throughout the day to keep production running smoothly.
