Position OverviewAs a Cold Forming Manufacturing Engineer your roles and responsibilities will include developing, optimizing, and supporting high-volume metal manufacturing processes across multiple plants and supplier locations. The role focuses on CNC machining, cold forming, cold heading, rolling, extrusion, and secondary operations. This is a highly hands-on position requiring frequent travel to manufacturing sites for process improvement, equipment validation, production launches, and supplier development activities.

Most importantly, you need to be a passionate Cold Forming Manufacturing Engineer who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Cold Forming Manufacturing Engineer would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in machining and/or cold forming manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of:
Cold forming and cold heading processes, CNC machining, metal forming physics, tooling and die systems. - Experience supporting multiple manufacturing locations or suppliers.
- Ability to travel 50–75% of the time.
- High-volume cold heading or progressive forming experience.
- Experience with steels, aluminum alloys, heat treatment, and surface coatings.
- Global supplier or international manufacturing experience.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent certification.
