Overview
Systems Engineers lead the technical development of the engineering products. Their primary responsibility is to ensure that all system components work together seamlessly to achieve the customer’s desired performance and functionality.
Responsibilities- Requirements Definition
:
Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and define system requirements, ensuring that the needs and objectives of the project are clearly understood and documented. Typical tools used include DOORS and JAMA. - System Design and Architecture
:
Developing detailed system designs and architectures that meet specified requirements, balancing performance, cost, and risks while ensuring compatibility and interoperability of various system components. Typical tools used include Visio and MBSE (CSM).
