Are you a current Junior or Senior in college pursuing a Finance or Business degree? Look no further! Republic Finance is excited to offer an Internship in our Branch Operations program!

As a Branch Operations Intern, you'll dive into the daily functions of branch operations and gain valuable insights into our organization and the various career paths we provide. You'll work alongside team members and leaders, gaining real-world experience in multiple aspects of a branch's day-to-day operations as well as the overall business, including: the Republic Way sales and customer service approach, compliance training, loan closing processes, leadership development, and participation in branch operations improvement projects with various departments.

Our aim is to not only enhance the concepts introduced in your college courses but also to pave the way for your bright future and long-term career opportunities with Republic Finance. This position is entirely onsite.

Our Branch Operations Interns earn $15.00 per hour, with the potential for full-time employment after successfully completing the internship program and upon graduation!

As a Branch Operations Intern, you'll have the chance to:

• Become licensed and undergo an accelerated version of the Assistant Branch Manager Program, learning the loan processing and necessary regulatory training.
• Assist in daily tasks related to loan origination, processing, closings, and funding, which includes file allocation for documentation preparation, auditing closed files, and preparing files for funding.
• Spend time with your manager and regional vice president to better understand their responsibilities and the promotional pathways available to you at Republic Finance.
• Participate in regional meetings and workshops (as available) to gain insights into the larger Branch Operations division of the company.
• Engage in one or more process improvement projects related to Branch Operations.
• Explore corporate roles where a background in branch operations is highly valued (for example, in Audit, Compliance, Training, Recruiting, etc.). We will also provide an overview of our benefits during the program.

• Must be a Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Ideal candidates are eager to learn, enthusiastic, reliable, and possess a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work a minimum of 18-20 hours per week.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must meet acceptable standards for criminal background history, credit history, and pass a pre‑employment drug screening.
• Must be eligible for insurance licensing to sell voluntary insurance products, based on a criminal background check conducted by the state’s department of insurance.
