Temporary Enrollment Management Analyst – Financial Aid

We are seeking a temporary Enrollment Management Analyst in Financial Aid who will support the administration of financial aid and maintain a customer‑service focus with a commitment to timely, accurate aid administration. The role will support students across undergraduate, graduate, seminary, law, and athletic programs, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
What You Will Do- Support aid administration for all student populations including undergraduate, graduate, seminary, law, and student athletes.
- Administer aid for federal, state, university, and private financial aid programs.
- Understand Financial Aid, Student Accounts, and Admissions timelines and how they impact cross‑functional teams, compliance, and student experience.
- Review supporting Financial Aid documentation and use professional analysis and judgement to determine aid eligibility.
- Manually award, package, and re‑package financial aid in accordance with policy, procedure, and compliance.
- Analyze, audit, and proactively resolve errors.
- Report areas of responsibility details to supervisor.
- Research, analyze, troubleshoot, and respond to requests from team members, campus partners, students, and families to support customer service and student experience.
- Serve teammates, campus partners, students, and families with a commitment to active listening and effective communication.
- Support tasks, projects, and attend trainings through the Division of Enrollment Management as directed.
- Learn and maintain a thorough knowledge of federal, state, NCAA, and university regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Maintain written procedures.
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission.
- Comply with University policies and maintain regular, punctual attendance.
- Bachelor’s degree and less than one year of relevant experience; two years of experience is preferred.
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy, professionalism, and customer service focus.
- Commitment to active listening and effective communication.
- Ability to estimate timelines and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills to review work and proactively act on error resolution.
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn about Financial Aid, Higher Education, and related processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve simple to intermediate system issues.
- Good interpersonal skills for communicating and resolving financial aid topics with students and financial services teams.
- Understanding of financial aid policies, system processes, and government regulations to support efficiency improvements, reporting, and preliminary judgment review.
- Knowledge of regulatory and institutional changes to maintain compliance.
- Experience in Financial Aid and Higher Education preferred.
- Intermediate Excel skills and experience with reporting and data analysis.
- Experience with Banner, Federal Student Aid, COD, NSLDS, and related platforms.
- Strong working knowledge of industry policies and regulations.
