Instruct continuing education courses in certified medical administrative assistant curriculum. Employee may not exceed 19.5 hours per week.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Restricted-Sustained posture, for prolonged periods; light lifting, some walking, pushing, pulling on a regular basis. Minimal Hazard/Exposure - Standard office setting. At least minimal environmental controls are in place to assure health and comfort.

BENEFITS:

Part-Time Retirement. Participation in Medicare Part A, but not Social Security (FICA).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

High School diploma or GED

Experience:

Three (3) years of current full-time experience as a medical administrative assistant and/or medical office management experience or a minimum of one (1) year of current full-time work experience in medical office administration and certified in medical office management procedures (CMAA, RMA , AAMA) or have an Associate's Degree relevant to medical office management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

Experience:

Teaching or training experience
