Occupational Therapist – Inpatient Rehabilitation

The Opportunity Join a premier, freestanding rehabilitation hospital as we expand our dedicated therapy team. We are looking for a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide high-level clinical care in a state-of-the-art environment. Our facility is recognized for its collaborative multidisciplinary approach, integrating OTs, COTAs, PTs, PTAs, and SLPs to deliver comprehensive recovery plans.

Clinical Focus

This role offers a specialized caseload with a strong emphasis on complex neurological recovery:

  • Neuro-Specialization (65%): Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), and Spinal Cord Injury
  • Orthopedic & Multi-Trauma (35%): Amputations, hip fractures, and complex trauma
  • Quality Metrics: A manageable caseload of 6–8 adult and geriatric patients per day, ensuring individualized attention
Position Structure & Compensation
  • Annual Base Salary: $80,000 – $119,000
  • Premium Pay: $70/hr for weekend rotations (as needed)
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday with a one-weekend-per-month commitment
  • Daily Workflow: 8-hour shift consisting of 7 hours of direct patient care (1-on-1 and group) and 1 hour of protected documentation time

Candidate Requirements
  • Licensure: Valid Occupational Therapist license (current or eligible)
  • Experience: Previous experience in acute care or inpatient rehabilitation is preferred; however, motivated New Graduate OTs are encouraged to apply and will receive tailored mentorship
  • Authorization: Please note that H1B Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
