Ascension Providence is looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Express Care clinic system.

This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to provide medical services to patients at our three Express Care clinics located in Waco, TX.

• 12 Hour shifts (clinic is open 8 am - 8 pm)
• Integrated Electronic Medical Record system with entire physician network

• Obtains patient history and performs assessment. Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic procedures.
• Provides and documents direct treatment and management of health conditions.
• Provides counseling and education of patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health, treatment options and community resources.
• Performs preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations and care.

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Physician Assistant credentialed from the Texas Physician Assistant Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Certified Physician Assistant credentialed from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program. Master's degree preferred.

• 1 year of experience preferred.
