As an Aged Care Home & Community Assistant (female), you will provide personalised home care support to older Australians in Canberra, helping them continue to live independently in their own homes.

You will travel between multiple clients homes across Canberra and surrounding suburbs inthe South regions of ACT, so a willingness to travel is essential (you will be reimbursed $1.01 per KM travelled while you are working).

We have casual opportunities with shifts available Monday to Friday between 8am and 7:30pm, with occasional weekend work and no evening or overnight shifts.

• Domestic assistance such as light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Personal care inclusive of showering, daily hygiene, monitoring of health and wellbeing
• Community access to medical appointments and social activities
• Provide support with daily tasks and routines
• Build positive relationships with clients and their families

• An Australian Driver’s Licence and a reliable vehicle with minimum third-party insurance.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships
• Passionate about making a positive impact in our ageing community
• A current Provide First Aid (HLTAID
  011) and Provide CPR (HLTAID
  009) certificate/s (must be obtained prior to employment)

Successful candidates will be required to undertake relevant pre-employment checks to ensure the safety of our clients. This includes a National Criminal History Record Check and an Aged Care Statutory Declaration.
