On-Call Caregiver
Visiting Angels, Waco is a leading non-medical, private duty home care agency providing companionship, safety supervision and personal care to help adults continue to live safely and independently in their homes.
What does "On-Call" mean? You must be available to answer your phone every day that you are scheduled, during the entire time period that you are scheduled. You’ll need to be able to spring into action to get to your client wherever they are located as soon as they are assigned to you! We have these special on-call opportunities available:
Every Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm
OR
Every Saturday and Sunday from 7am-7pm OR 7pm-7am
Clients can be up to a 50 mile radius outside of Waco, therefore, you MUST have reliable transportation that YOU will be driving to your clients' homes, a valid driver’s license and liability insurance. You must also need to be able to work in environments with smokers and pets.
Guaranteed pay for certain hours you are on call. You also have the option to pick up extra shifts outside of your on-call schedule!

- MUST be 18 years of age or older
- MUST have a CNA license OR have at least 2 years of hands-on elderly caregiving experience, including all of the above duties
- MUST have a VALID Driver's License, liability insurance and reliable transportation of your own
- Be able to travel 50 miles outside of Waco Be able to work in homes where pets and/or smoking are present
- Must be able to pass a Criminal History check
- Provide 3 professional references
