Housekeeping Team – Cabin Attendant, Housekeeping Inspector, Laundry Attendant

Northgate Resorts owns and manages the most awarded Camp-Resort portfolio in the nation. Our passion is creating family camping memories for our guests. We are hiring seasonal, full‑time or part‑time positions that report to the Executive Housekeeper.

• Safely maintain assigned housekeeping equipment and supplies
• Ensure cabins are properly stocked and equipped
• Remove trash and used linens from the guestrooms to prepare for the housekeeper to clean
• Set climate control on approved temperature settings
• Report maintenance issues discovered while cleaning
• Record location and turn in lost and found items
• Participate in other projects and activities as assigned

• General Duties
  • Inspect cabins, lodges, and each private guest quarter to ensure proper stocking and equipment
  • Report maintenance issues or damages discovered while inspecting and follow through on the reported issues
  • Monitor temperature controls and appliances to ensure all are off or set to proper levels
• Work with housekeepers to clean all guestrooms
• Record location and turn in lost and found items
• Safely maintain assigned housekeeping equipment and supplies
• Participate in other projects and activities as assigned
• Administrative Duties
  • Mentor housekeeping staff daily to ensure cleanliness standards and operational efficiencies are met or exceeded; review inspection results and coach staff for improvement
  • Use reservation system to communicate room status; verify stayovers, report early check‑outs, and coordinate with Guest Relations on issues and discrepancies

• Collect and sort linens into appropriate groups for washing
• Separate stained linen from other dirty linen and treat according to policy and procedures
• Transport substantial loads in terry carts to the laundering area
• Load and unload washers, dryers, and fold linens to company standards
• Monitor supplies and report shortages for re‑ordering
• Clean appliances and equipment; observe and report maintenance issues discovered while cleaning
• Track discarded linens and report to Executive Housekeeper for replenishment
• Record location and turn in lost and found items
• Participate in other projects and activities as assigned
  • Assist teammates in collecting and delivering soiled linens to the laundry room
  • Assist teammates with cleaning duties

• Housekeeping experience preferred but not required.

• Basic computer skills
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem‑solving skills
• Strong attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
• Ability to multi‑task and work in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
• Required to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Work with minimal supervision
• Maintain a positive working environment in communication and interaction with customers, clients, vendors, coworkers, and management

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position
• Continuously climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and crawl
• Able to manipulate fingers, hands, and arms to reach, carry, etc.
• Constant exposure to outside weather conditions
