Key Responsibilities
- Define and design end-to-end GIS solution architecture aligned with business and IT strategy
- Lead architecture for Esri-based solutions including ArcGIS Enterprise, Portal, ArcGIS Online, Field Maps, Web App Builder, Experience Builder, and Mobile GIS
- Drive GIS solution design for enterprise integrations with systems such as ERP, IAM, SCADA, OMS, ADMS, and data platforms
- Provide technical leadership during presales, solutioning, proposals, and estimates
- Ensure adherence to security, performance, scalability, and availability standards
- Guide development teams with architecture patterns, best practices, and design reviews
- Support cloud and hybrid deployments (Azure / AWS) including Dev Ops and CI/CD strategies
- Collaborate with stakeholders, customers, and delivery teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Evaluate new GIS technologies, tools, and frameworks and recommend adoption
- Participate in governance forums, architecture review boards, and risk mitigation planning

- Esri ArcGIS Enterprise (10.x / 11.x), ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online

Architecture & Integration:
- Enterprise GIS Architecture
- REST APIs, Web Services, SOA, Microservices
- Integration with enterprise systems (SAP, Maximo, Active Directory, IAM)
Cloud & Infrastructure:
- Azure or AWS cloud architecture
- High availability, DR, and performance tuning
- Kubernetes / Docker (preferred)
Development & Data:
- JavaScript, .NET, Python
- ArcGIS API for Java Script
- Spatial databases (Postgre
SQL/PostGIS, Oracle Spatial, SQL Server)
Dev Ops & Security:
- CI/CD pipelines, Git
- Authentication, authorization, and role-based access control
- Strong stakeholder and customer communication skills
- Ability to lead technical discussions with architects, developers, and managers
- Strong documentation, presentation, and decision-making abilities
- Experience in mentoring and guiding technical teams
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, GIS, Engineering, or related field
- Esri certifications (Enterprise Administration, Developer, or Architect) preferred
- Experience in Utilities (Electric, Gas, Water), Telecom, or Government GIS projects is a plus
