Role Overview:

Could you be our next Support Specialist
? American Income Life is looking for a Support Specialist to join the team!

This role is responsible for performing various analytical and data evaluation with a high degree of accuracy. The Support Specialist exercises independent judgment, communicates effectively through telephone, e-mail, and written correspondence, and ensures timely distribution of work to appropriate parties.

This role must maintain discretion in all duties while meeting department deadlines.

This is an onsite position located in Waco, TX.

What You Will Do:

• Perform various analytical and data evaluation with a high degree of accuracy.
• Exercise judgmental decisions in an independent manner.
• Communicate effectively via telephone, e-mail, and written correspondence.
• Meet department deadlines and efficiently handle distribution to appropriate parties.
• Maintain discretion in the execution of all duties.
• Other duties as required by the department.

What You Can Bring:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum typing requirement of 30 wpm.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment and various software packages.
• Ability to understand and apply a variety of oral and written instructions with demonstrated initiative.
• Proficient communication skills including proper grammar, word usage, and punctuation - both written and verbal.
• Professional and courteous demeanor at all times.

Progression Opportunity: This position is eligible for advancement to Senior

Support Specialist (LG12) upon meeting one of the following criteria:

• One year of experience in the Support Specialist position (LG10)
  and successful completion of any LOMA or ICA designation.
• OR 5 years of experience in a Support Specialist position (LG10).
• OR 10 years of experience in a non-entry level position (LG6 or higher).
• Must demonstrate fully competent performance for two quarters preceding advancement in all functions performed in the Support Specialist position (LG10).
