As a Reinsurance Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting reinsurance administration processes, ensuring accurate reporting, billing, documentation, and compliance with treaty requirements.

What you’ll accomplish with us- Assist in the preparation, maintenance, and submission of monthly reinsurance premium billings.
- Support the preparation, reconciliation, and distribution of reinsurance reports while identifying and escalating discrepancies.
- Maintain reinsurance files, trackers, documentation, and process records to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Coordinate with internal departments to gather required information and support audits, treaty updates, and reporting initiatives.
- Provide backup support for claims-related reinsurance activities, identify process improvement opportunities, and elevate issues as needed.
In addition, you will:
- Follow and maintain documented procedures and workflows.
- Assist with support for new or amended reinsurance treaties.
- Conduct company business in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, contractual obligations, and the iA Financial Group Code of Conduct.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by leadership based on business needs.
- Is known for their strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Stands out for their problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Is recognized for their organization, adaptability, and collaborative mindset.
- Has an associate's degree (preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Has experience in insurance, accounting, operations, or a related field (preferred).
- Possesses the ability to learn reinsurance concepts and apply them effectively.
- Can manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and maintain high-quality standards.
Intermediate level of English proficiency is required, as the role involves written and verbal communication with internal stakeholders and business partners on a regular basis.
