Position: Project Materials & Logistics Supervisor (on-site - Waco)

Project Supply Chain Coordinator

WSP is initiating a search for a Project Supply Chain Coordinator for our Waco, TX location. This is a field role which primarily operates in Construction environments supporting the execution of construction activities.

The purpose of the Project Supply Chain Coordinator is to directly supervise and manage material storage site(s) activity on a WSP project where we are providing SCM and/or Material Management services. The role will be accountable for the operations at one (1) or multiple sites ensuring the 3C's (Care, Custody, and Control) are maintained over safeguarded material. Additionally, role will be responsible for conducting Project material-related analysis to provide insights and support the needs of the Project.

Employees in this role will primarily work on location at the project construction sites (Waco, TX). The yard work hours are from 7am – 4pm, however there will responsibilities that may require you to arrive prior to opening the yard, and to stay after closing the yard.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of relevant post-education
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Individual must have experience in an inventory controls role, managing, and fostering the development of personnel assigned to them
  • 3-5 years quantifiable experience in Supply Chain Management practices
  • Team members must be extremely proficient in the Office 365 suite of software, with an emphasis in Excel. Advanced Excel knowledge is beneficial
  • Experience in collaborating on Projects as a value-added member
  • Physical Components of the Role
    • Must be able to stand for multiple hours on a rocked surface
    • Must be able to walk over 10,000 steps a day on a rocked surface
    • Must be able to lift, carry, and/or manipulate materials weighing up to 50lbs
    • Must be willing to spot equipment on the yard during operations, traveling to/from storage locations, and loading of trucks with equipment

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience with Maximo systems
