Fuel Terminal Operator - Waco, TX

Join Casey's as a Fuel Terminal Operator in Waco, TX! In this role, you're responsible for the safe and efficient handling of fuel products at the terminal, including truck loading rack, storage tanks, associated piping and pumps.

This role requires working overnight shifts and weekends, with flexibility to adjust your schedule as needed.

• Performs operational duties in accordance with terminal operating procedures to ensure the safe loading, offloading, pipeline receipts, product testing and inventory control, safely move product through the Terminal.
• Performs Lock Out/Tag Out, Hot Work Permits, Excavation Permits, and Confined Space Entry permits for safe and effective execution of work.
• Performs security and equipment facility walk-arounds, minimizing downtown and unsafe conditions by promptly responding to abnormal findings.
• Performs environmental and regulatory checks (eliminating, containing and reporting all product seeps and spills).
• Directs trucks and transport drivers to proper loading stations as needed.
• Supports training and authorizing drivers for access to the terminal.
• Prepares daily inventory reports, terminal balance reports, and tracks daily activities.
• Responsible for maintenance and appearance of facility and grounds.

Starting pay range: $20.75 - $27.25. Actual pay may vary based on Casey’s assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, and qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include local prevailing wages and internal equity. Our full salary range for this role does extend beyond the hiring range listed, allowing team members the opportunity to continue to grow within the company.

• High School Diploma or equivalent, plus at least two years of experience with petroleum, mechanical or electronics maintenance is required.
• At least two years of experience in a maintenance related field position.
• HAZWOPER certification preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to exercise good judgement in stressful situations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel and Word).
• Work is primarily performed at a Fuel Terminal.
• Must live within 30 minutes of Fuel Terminal.
• Must be able to work on-call including nights and weekends.
• Must be able to tolerate working outside in severe weather conditions, as well as exposure to industrial, high temperature, and dust.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
